A SSEMBLING B OOM- S ECTION 1
Note! Reference Diagram of Complete Boom Assembly on pages 9.25 and 9.26
Stage 1
Thoroughly clean the inside and outside of boom-section 1.
Install the hose take-up weldment to boom-section 1.
Grease the inside bearing paths of boom-section 1 and the outside bearing
paths of boom-section 2.
Insert boom-section 2/3/4 package into boom-section 1.
Stage 2
Connect the hose assembly to the hose take-up weldment.
F RONT, B OOM- S ECTION 1
Bolt the chain adjustment block to boom-section 1
Install the front top bearing pads.
Note! Do not torque the bolts yet!
Install the front bottom bearing pad support and bearing pads.
Note! Do not torque the bolts yet!
Install side front bearing pads.
Torque all front bearing pads and supports to correct values.
