S EPARATING B OOM- S ECTION 3 AND 4 F ROM B OOM- S ECTION 2
Stage 1
Remove the rear bottom (top side of boom package) and side bearing pads from
boom-section 3.
Remove optional and standard hose sheaves from the rear of-boom-section 2.
Remove the chain and chain clevis from the rear of boom-section 2.
Remove the front bottom chain roller assembly from boom-section 2.
Remove the hydraulic sub-assembly bracket and hardware from the rear of boom-
section 3.
Pull the hydraulic sub-assembly partially out through the rear of boom to access
the hoses.
R EAR, B OOM- S ECTION 2
Stage 2
Remove hoses from the rear of the hydraulic sub-assembly.
Remove tension on the chain clevis before proceeding.
Unbolt and remove the chain adjustment block from the bottom of the boom.
Remove all bearing pads from the front of boom-section 2.
FRONT, BOOM-SECTION 2
Stage 3
Carefully pull the third and fourth sections from boom-section 2.
Remove the chain from boom-section 2 to boom-section 3 package when the
booms are free of each other.
