A SSEMBLING THE H YDRAULIC S UB- A SSEMBLY
Stage 1
Lay out all components, ideally on stands (horses) in a designated work area.
Clean and re-tap all threaded holes.
Lay out both sections of the hydraulics carrier on stands.
Stage 2
Bolt the bearing pad to the hydraulics carrier.
Assemble bulkhead fillings to the hydraulics carrier.
Assemble the tube assemblies to the bulkhead fittings on the hydraulics carrier.
Attach cushion clamps to the hydraulics carrier and bolt it to the tubes.
Assemble the bulkhead fittings to the hydraulics carrier.

Stage 3
Connect the outer tube assembly to the bulkhead fitting on the hydraulics carrier.
Place the bottom half of the 3 tube clamps in place on the hydraulics carrier.
Connect the inner tube assembly to the bulkhead fitting, place into the stacked
tube clamp and bolt the clamp together.
Bolt the hose carrier (Catrac) to the hydraulics carrier.
Feed the hose assemblies through the hose carrier then connect the ends to the
bulkhead fillings & tube assemblies.
Bolt the remaining end of the hose carrier (Catrac) to the hydraulics carrier.
Stage 4
Bolt the guide bracket to the hydraulics carrier. Tie-wrap both hoses together where
they extend from the hose carrier. Fasten 3 tie wraps equally spaced around the
hydraulics carrier for stability.
Grease the bearing pad side as well as the side the bearing pad of boom-section
4 rides on. The hydraulic sub-assembly is now ready to be inserted.
