Description
Applications
The HP DesignJet 700 (monochrome), HP DesignJet 750C and 750C Plus (color) and HP
DesignJet 750CM are largeĆformat, inkĆjet plotters/printers that print output from software
applications, on paper and other media.
The plotters/printers produce largeĆformat plots of high resolution and quality for the
following sectors:
D ComputerĆaided design (CAD)
D ComputerĆaided manufacturing (CAM)
D Mapping
D Mechanical and architectural drawing
D General drafting
Drivers
Software drivers for the following applications are supplied with the plotters:
D AutoCAD for DOS
D AutoCAD for Windows
D MicroSoft Windows Applications

Graphics Languages
The plotters accept drawing data in the following graphics languages:
D HewlettĆPackard Graphics Language (HPĆGL), a vector language.
D HPĆGL/2, an enhanced version of HPĆGL.
D HewlettĆPackard Raster Transfer Language (HPĆRTL), a raster language.
The plotters support HPĆGL/2 with both the roman and the Japanese Kanji character sets
(provided the Kanji ROM SIMM is fitted). PostScript is also available when the Postscript
upgrade is fitted.
DeviceĆControl Languages
The plotters support the following languages, enabling the user to read certain plotter
settings from the computer:
D Printer JobLanguage (PJL)
D Printer Management Language (PML)
