Select Color or Black and White/Gray to adjust the detection level.

Set Auto Deskew

to Auto to correct the skew (less than 0.36 in. (9 mm) from the center of the
document to the edge) of the scanned data.

Set Skip Blank Page

to On to remove blank pages of the document from the scanned data.

Select -5 to 5 from the drop-down list to adjust the Skip Blank Page sensitivity.

Select Continuous Scan to On to continue scanning.

To protect the profile, select On from Use PIN for Authentication and enter a 4-digit PIN number in
PIN Code.

Select the authentication method. Choose Auto, Kerberos or NTLMv2. If you select Auto, the
authentication method will be detected automatically.

Enter the Username that has been registered with the CIFS server for the machine (up to 96 characters).

Enter the Password for access to the CIFS server (up to 32 characters).

Click Submit.

Select Date&Time from the General tab.

Enter the date and time used on the CIFS server.

Select the time zone from the drop-down list.

Click Submit.
