5 Skip Blank Page
Removes blank pages of the document from the scanning results.
The sensitivity of the Skip Blank Page function can be adjusted with the slider. Moving the slider toward
High will make the machine more likely to skip pages, while moving it toward Low will make the machine
less likely to skip pages. If you enable the Show Results setting, the computer will display how many blank
pages were skipped once the scan is complete.
If the Skip Blank Page function is triggered for all document pages, no scanned image will be displayed.
Instead, the computer will display a warning message indicating that all document pages are blank.
6 Continuous Scan
This feature allows you to scan additional documents using the same settings once a scan completes. It
is convenient to use when you scan more documents the maximum capacity of the ADF or when you scan
several documents at once.
7 Multifeed Detection
When this function detects a multifeed, the computer will display a error message. Confirm that the data
scanned before the multifeed has been saved, and then start scanning again at the next page or the
beginning of the document.
NOTE
• Enabling this function may cause detection of a multifeed when scanning thick paper. Disable this setting
when scanning thick paper.
• If you enable Carrier Sheet Mode or Plastic Card Mode, you cannot enable Multifeed Detection.
8 Single Paper Scan
Single Paper Scan will feed one page at a time from the ADF regardless of the number of pages in the ADF.
