10 Punch Hole Removal
This feature removes the punch hole markings by filling hole marks with white or the surrounding color.
 White
Fill punch hole with white.
 Surrounding color
Fill punch hole with the color surrounding the hole.

1 Carrier Sheet Mode
Scan the following document types using the Carrier Sheet.
 Important documents (photos, contracts)
 Thin paper (receipts)
 Irregularly-shaped paper (clippings)
NOTE
• For this mode, you can select any settings other than Auto and Long Paper document size.
• If you enable Multifeed Detection or Plastic Card Mode, you cannot enable Carrier Sheet Mode,
Auto Deskew or Detect End of Page.
2 Plastic Card Mode
Scan cards, such as driver’s licenses or insurance cards, using these automatic settings:
 Resolution: 600 x 600 dpi
 Document Size: 2 in 1(Auto)
 2-sided Scanning: On (Short-edge binding)
 Auto Deskew: Off
 Detect End of Page: Off
 Auto Image Rotation: Off
 Multifeed Detection: Off
 Carrier Sheet Mode: Off
3 Margin Settings
This feature allows you to add or remove a specific margin (-0.12 to 0.12 in. (-3 to 3 mm)) at the edge of
the image.
4 Edge Fill
Select White or Black and set a value to add a white or black edge around the border of your scanned
image.
