Re-installing Grass Valley software
K2 Client software
1. Follow the onscreen instructions, clicking
Next
on each page.
2. When you arrive at the Specify Target Type page, select as follows:
•
K2 with shared storage
— Select this option if you are installing on a shared
storage (SAN) K2 Media Client.
•
K2 with local storage
— Select this option if you are installing on an internal
storage K2 Media Client or on a direct-connect storage K2 Media Client.
3. Click
Next
and
Finish
to complete the installation.
4. When prompted, restart the machine.
NOTE: You must restart after installing K2 software.
5. When the K2 Media Client starts up, you can verify that the correct versions of
software are installed as follows:
a. Log on to AppCenter.
b. In AppCenter click
Help | About
. The About dialog box opens.
