7.5.3 Point Programming For 5880 and 5865 Modules
To program 5880 or 5865 module points:
1. Enter the installer code.
2. Select 7 for Program Menu.
3. Press 4 to enter point menu.
4. Press the or arrows to select the desired module. Refer to Section 6.5 for available choices. Press
ENTER .

5. Enter the point number. Press ENTER .
6. Press the or arrows to select the type (Notification or unused). Press ENTER .
7. Press the or arrows to select the desired Group. Press ENTER .
8. Edit module name. See Section 7.5.4, or Press to skip module name edit.
9. Repeat Steps 1 through 8 for all points.
7.5.4 Assigning a Name to a Point
You can assign a name to a point to make it easier to recognize on a display.
If you wish to edit the name of a point, follow these instructions:
1. Do steps 1 through 4 of Section 7.5.3.
2. Using the or arrow, select the module of the point you want to edit, press ENTER .
3. Enter the point number.
4. Press until the module name is blinking. Press ENTER .
A screen similar to the one shown in Figure 7-12 displays.
