2-6 Use of function combinations
In some cases, the functions described from “2-2 Floating blanking function” ( ➮2-1) to “2-5 Muting function”
(
➮2-3) can be used in combination. Refer to the following table for the information about which combinations
are valid.

*1 The floating blanking function cannot be set for some beam axes when the blanking blind protection
function and the floating blanking function are used in combination. The floating blanking function will be
unavailable on the beam axis labeled “X+7” on the following diagram when using the SL-C08SB blanking
blind protection unit; it will be unavailable for the beam axis labeled “X+15” when using the SL-C16SB
unit.
