13) Press the MENU key multiple times to tab right and the ESC key
multiple times to tab left until the AUTO menu is highlighted and
displaying the submenu items.
14) Use the and DOWN arrow keys to scroll through the sub menu items
until AUTO SET is highlighted.
Note: The Auto Set feature can also be activated by simply pressing the
Auto Set key on the keypad.
15) Apply a drop of couplant to the cal standard or transducer, and attach it
to one end of the cal standard. Rotate the transducer clockwise and
counter clockwise applying a small amount of pressure to eliminate any
excess couplant between the transducer and cal standard. Be sure to
always place the transducer in the same location. This will help to
eliminate any potential measurement errors caused by changing the
sound path.
16) Press the ENTER key and the Ultrasonic Length of the bolt will be
displayed.
17) Press the MEAS key once to activate the measure menu items. Press
the MEAS key multiple times to move right and the ESC key multiple
times to move left, until the LOC cell is highlighted.
18) Press the ENTER key to display the Group View Box.
19) Press the UP, DOWN, LEFT, and RIGHT arrow keys to scroll the target
cell cursor to the desired storage location.
