Communications Connector
The communications interface on the modules provides power, serial communications
signals, and access to the GPIO inputs and outputs.
The M5e and M5e-Compact have a 12-pin connector. For the interface pin-out, see M5e/
M5e-Compact Digital Connectors .
The following figure shows the diagrams of the M5e, and M5e-Compact communications
interface as you face the boards.

The flat ribbon cable that connects with the communications interface on the
M5e and M5e-Compact embedded modules is available from Parlex,
Part Number: 100R12-152B; and can be purchased from standard electronic
component suppliers.
