5.0 Serial Commands
The iQUBE 2 can be controlled by a personal computer using a terminal emulation program (such as HyperTermi-
nal). Control is provided by a set of serial commands that can display and change setup parameters and perform
reporting functions. The serial commands provide the capability to print configuration data or to save that data to
an attached personal computer. This section describes the serial command set and procedures for saving and trans-
ferring data using the serial ports. The following section lists the
serial commands used to configure and control the
iQUBE 2 .

DUMP.COM List communications port parameters —
DUMP.FMT List poll and stream format parameters —

DUMP.SC List scale parameters for all scales —
DUMP.SCs List scale parameters for scale s 1–5 ( 5 = total scale)
DUMP.SP List setpoint parameters for all setpoints —
DUMP.SPn List setpoint parameters for setpoint n 1–4

MS.AUTO Places system in MS.AUTO mode to acquire

(1-3) in the Master only. —
MSn.ADDR Reads or configures the address of Secondary
Board n (1-3) in the Master only. —
MSLIST Returns all addresses registered with the master. —
MS.RESCAN Registers the configured secondary boards with
the master. This action is automatically performed
when initializing a calibration or entering weigh
mode.
MSn yyyyyyyy zz Configures Secondary Board n (1-3) as ID
(yyyyyyyy) and address (zz), and downloads the
