3.2.6 Load Cell Assignment
Once the load cells have been defined (Section 3.2.5), load
cell assignment allows up to 16 load cells to be associated
with up to four scales.
1. From the left pane, click
Load Cell Assignment
.
2. From the listing of scales, select the scale being con-
figured (Scale #1 – Scale #4).
3. Use the right arrow button to move numbered load
cells from the
Available Cells
list to the
Assigned Cells
list for that scale. (Use the left arrow button to return
a selected cell to the Available Cells list.)
4. A representation of load cell locations in the scale is
shown in the
Section Layout
portion of the display.
For all scales, use the up and down arrow buttons
to arrange the cells shown in the
Section Layout
view to reflect the physical layout of the load cells.
Section Layout
provides essential information to the
system about cell relationships. Calibration and
diagnostic functions depend on an accurate
representation of the scale.
Load cells do not have to be on the same board to be paired with each other.
3.2.7 Scale Configuration
Scale configuration can be accomplished via the
System
section in the left pane. Click
System
to expand this sec-
tion.
1. From the left pane, with the

Scales
.
2. From the listing of scales, click on the one to be con-
figured.

3.2.9 Print Formatting
Print formatting parameters can be edited by clicking
For-
matting
under the
Printing
section in the left pane. The
Print-
ing
tab, when expanded, shows the Formatting selection.
This allows for consecutive numbering and custom print
tickets (gross and net).
Numbering Tab
This tab allows options for specifying consecutive
numbering options (start, next, and ID). The consecutive
number value is incremented following each print
operation that includes
