Performing a Rezero
The rezero function is used to remove a calibration offset when hooks or chains are used to hang the test weights.
To perform a rezero,
1. Remove the hooks or chains used during calibration, and remove any test weights from the scale.
2. With
REZERO
displayed, press
ENTER
or
DOWN
to access the rezero function.
3. With all weight removed, press the
Calibrate
softkey to rezero the scale. Press
ENTER
, then press
UP
twice
to return to the
CALIB
menu.

Configuration Utility Calibration
To access calibration, within the program click
System
from the left pane to expand the
System
section. Then, with
the
System
section expanded, from the left pane click the
Scales
button.

You must be logged in to the Virtui
2
Configuration Utility as a user with administrator rights for calibration to be
available. The default login is Administrator with a blank password. Before calibrating the scale, it must first be
configured and the configuration sent to iQUBE
2
. Refer to Section 3.0 for configuration instructions.
Calibration is an immediate process. The scale will be calibrated upon completion of the Calibration Wizard.
If linearization points are used, they will be sorted in ascending order upon completion of the Calibration Wizard.
4.2.1 2-Point Calibration
This option calibrates a single load cell or scale with one load cell per A/D.
1. From the
Scales
section, select the scale to be calibrated.
2. From the
General
tab, select
Two Point (Zero/Span)
from the
Calibration Type
pull-down menu.
3. Click the
Calibrate
button.
The Two-Point Calibration wizard appears.
Note
