Min Hold
Holds and displays the lowest point of any given sweep until Min Hold
is turned off.
Average
Displays the running average of multiple readings which is used to
smooth a signal and decrease noise amplitude.
Average Readings
Sets the number of averaged readings. The valid range is from 2 to 1024.
Reset Average
Resets the current running average of multiple readings.
Water Fall Spectrogram
The Water Fall Spectrogram shows how the spectral density of a signal
varies with time and presents it in a visual image. Also known as spec-
tral waterfalls, sonograms, voiceprints, or voicegrams, spectrograms are
used to identify phonetic sounds and specific noise disturbances.
1. Go to the Ampt & Trace menu.
2. Click on the Trace selection.
3. Click on the Water Fall selection.
4. Turn the Water Fall spectrogram on.
5. Select the dual screen display, if desired
