9. Ensure that the message on Panelview reads
Operation Status as completed and not failed.
If you encounter a failed message retry the
initialize.
10. Enter all the data recorded in step 1 above.
Save the parameters to EEPROM memory. If
you do not, the drive parameters will not be
saved permanently and the next time power is
cycled these new parameters will be lost.
11. Press the F8 function key (YES) to
acknowledge the save. Ensure that the
operation status is completed and not failed. If
you get a failed message retry the save
operation.
12. Turn the drive control power off. Wait 15 seconds. Turn the power back on. Cycling the control
power resets some internal variables, which only happens on power up.
13. Re-verify that all the loaded original parameters carefully and correct any parameters which have
not been entered or been added in the new software revision. This information will be found in the
software release notes.
14. Make sure to save the parameters to EEPROM.
