HEPA filter
The HEPA filter cleans the air in the epMotion workspace. The HEPA filter reduces the amount of particles
such as dust or germs.
The fan continuously draws air out of the ambience and channels it to the HEPA filter. The filtered air flow
will be routed to the epMotion workspace.

WARNING! Risk of infection due to aerosols.
If you work with the HEPA filter, a continuous air flow will be blown from the epMotion
workspace to the ambience. The air flow can transport aerosols and contaminate the
ambience.
Do not use the HEPA filter when working with biohazardous substances.
Disinfect contaminated surfaces in the epMotion workspace before switching on the HEPA
filter.
The HEPA filter will become dirty over time. Have the HEPA filter replaced by Eppendorf
Service once per year.
