m Tile makes the image appear repeatedly inside the object, if the original image is smaller
than the object. If the image is larger than the object, you will see only part of the image
inside the object.
Changing the Line Style
For drawn objects, you can choose a style and color for the line that delineates the object (or
the stroke). Or you can choose to have no line around the object. Line style and color are set
using the Graphic Inspector and the Colors window.
To set line style and color for an object:
1 Select the object that you want to modify.
2 Choose a line style, or None, from the Stroke pop-up menu in the Graphic Inspector.
3 To change line thickness, type a value in the Stroke size field.
4 To change the line color, click the color well to open the Colors window and select a color.
5 To give the line shaped end points, such as arrowheads or circles, choose left and right end
points from the pop-up menus.
This circle object has a very
small image fill scaled to tile.
This circle object has a
large image scaled to tile.
Choose a solid line, dotted
line, dashed line, or no line.
Choose line end points from
these pop-up menus.
Click the color well to
choose a line color.
Enter the line thickness
in this field.
