Installing Power Console Plus
Client System Requirements
In order to run Power Console Plus, the client system must be running Windows 2000
and must be using TCP/IP. The client system hardware requirements are as follows:

Intel Pentium or higher CPU
•
At least 8 MB of system memory
•
Network interface
•
At least 2 MB of free hard disk drive space
•
Mouse or other pointing device
Components
The Power Console Plus package consists of:
•
Power Console Plus Client
•
MegaRAID Service Monitor
•
SNMP Agent
•
Registration Server
•
RAID Server
Power Console Plus Client
Any computer running Windows 2000 can run Power Console Plus. Running Power
Console Plus allows this computer to access any RAID server that is registered in the
Registration Server.
Registration Server
The Registration Server contains a database of all computers that have registered as a
RAID Server.
RAID Server
The RAID Server software runs in any server that has one or more MegaRAID
controllers and allows it to register to the Registration Server.
