Option
Description
Factory Default
Select this option to load the default MegaRAID
Configuration Utility settings.
Enable/Disable BIOS
Select this options to enable or disable the
BIOS. If the boot device is on the RAID
controller, the BIOS must be enabled;
otherwise the BIOS should be disabled or it
might not be possible to use a boot device
elsewhere.Enabling the BIOS allows and
disabling the BIOS stops hooking of the
INTERRUPT 13H from the MegaRAID BIOS
level for logical drives found at the BIOS level
for the individual card.
Emulation
Select this options to operate in Mass Storage or
I2O mode.
Auto Rebuild
Set this option to Enabled to automatically
rebuild drives when they fail.
Initiator ID
ID for the cluster card. It cannot have the same
ID as the other node. The default is 7.
Cluster Mode
Use this option to enable or disable cluster mode.
When you disable cluster mode, the system
operates in standard mode.
Multiple PCI Delayed Trans
Force Boot
Set to ON to have BIOS write the disk
configuration to the NVRAM in case of a
configuration mismatch.
Coercion Algorithm
The options are None, 128MB-way, and 1GB-
way.
