Battery Information
Select this option from the Configuration Utility Objects menu to view information
about the battery backup. Table 9.7 describes the menu items for battery backup.
Table 9.7 Battery Backup Menu Options
Options Description
Backup Module Indicates whether the battery module is absent or
present.
Battery Pack Indicates whether the battery module is correctly
installed.
Temperature Indicates whether the temperature is in the
normal range or high.
Voltage Indicates whether the voltage is in the normal
range or high.
Fast Charging Indicates whether the battery pack is charging or
whether the fast charge cycle is done.
No. of Cycles Displays the number of charge cycles. After
1100 charge cycles, the life of the battery pack is
assumed to be over and you must replace it.
Reset Battery Charge Counter
Use this option to reset the charge cycle count for the battery. Perform the following
steps to configure the charge cycle:
1. When you first install the battery pack, set the Charge Cycle to 0
2. Select Reset Battery Charge Counter.
3. Select YES to reset the number of cycles to zero, then press <Enter>.
After 1100 charge cycles, the life of the battery pack is assumed to be over and you
must replace it.
