Option Description
Synchronous Negotiation Select this option to enable or disable
synchronous negotiation for a physical device.
The default is Enabled.
SCSI Command Tagging Select this option to set the number of queue tags
per command to Disabled, 2, 3, 4, or Enhanced.
The default setting is Enhanced.
Set Write Cache Select this option to enable or disable the Write
Cache Setting option on the SCSI drive, if the
firmware and SCSI drive support such an action.
This option is not visible for all cards.
Channel
Select this option from the Configuration Utility Objects menu to choose a SCSI
channel on the currently selected controller. You can perform the operation described
in Table 9.6 on the selected channel.

Options Description
Termination When set to Enabled, the MegaRAID controller
is terminated. When set to Disabled, it is not.
Normally, you will not need to change this
option because MegaRAID sets it automatically.
SCSI Transfer Rate Select this option to set the transfer rate as Fast,
Ultra, Ultra2, Ultra160 or Ultra320.
