Root Certificate
Setting
Description
Download
When using a private certificate authority, this exports the root
certificate.
• The root certificate is downloaded in the “cer” format.
• If you are not using SSL communication, you cannot export the
certificate.
Fingerprint
Prints the fingerprint of the root certificate for the private certificate
authority.

authority.
The MAC address is used when the
name is automatically generated.

Enter the country code of the
certificate authority.

Issue Date
Displays the date that the certificate
was issued.

Expiration
Date
Enter the date that the root certificate
expires.
The generated date + 20 years is used
when automatically generated.
YYYYMMDD (Where YYYY is a
four digit year, MM is a two digit
month, and DD is a two digit
day)
Serial Number Displays the serial number of the
certificate.

Import
[Import]
Imports the root certificate.

File Name
Click [Browse] to set the path of the
file name to the root certificate.

Password
Enter the password used when
importing the root certificate.

Exports the root certificate.
• The root certificate is exported in
the “PKCS#12” format.
• If you are not using SSL
communication, you cannot export
the certificate.
