RESET SWITCH
Syntax
reset switch
Parameters
None.
Description
This command does all of the following:
❑ Performs a soft reset on all ports. The reset takes less than a
second to complete. The ports retain their current operating
parameter settings. To perform this function on individual ports,
refer to RESET SWITCH PORT on page 158.
❑ Resets the statistics counters on all ports to zero. To perform this
function on individual ports, refer to RESET SWITCH PORT
COUNTER on page 191.
❑ Deletes all dynamic MAC addresses from the MAC address table.
To perform this function on individual ports, refer to RESET
SWITCH FDB on page 174.
Examples
This command performs the functions described above:
reset switch
