The import routine considers a non-numeric character to be a separator, so any non-
numeric character can be used to separate both the pairs of eastings and northings and also
the pairs of coordinates denoting the start and end of a survey line. In this example, a
space delimits each easting and northing pair, and the strings
ELEMENT n separate the
survey line data pairs.
2. Click the Start/Stop Survey Planning Editor icon.
In the Survey Control Panel, the Survey planning setup dialog box opens (Figure 42).
