Displaying 802.1x information

To display information about the 802.1x configuration on an individual port, enter a command such
as the following.
Syntax: show dot1x config ethernet slot/port
The following additional information is displayed in the show dot1x config command for an
interface.
Mac Session max-age
The configured software aging time for dot1x-mac-sessions.
Maximum Failed Attempts
The number of failed authentication attempts, if the authentication-failure
action shows Restricted VLAN,

AuthControlledPortControl
The port control type configured for the interface. If set to auto, authentication
is activated on the 802.1x-enabled interface.
multiple-hosts
Whether the port is configured to allow multiple Supplicants accessing the
interface on the device through a hub.

“Allowing multiple 802.1x clients to authenticate”
for information on
how to change this setting.
max-clients
The maximum number of clients that can be authenticated on this interface.
multiple-clients
Shows if the interface is enabled or disabled for multiple client authentication.
filter-strict-security
Shows if the interface is enabled or disabled for strict security mode.
