Note 2: Wiring
• All wiring shall comply with National Electrical Code ANSI/NEPA 70 and Local
Electrical Code.
• In hazardous area, wiring shall be in conduits as shown in the figure.
WARNING: SEAL ALL CONDUITS WITHIN 18 INCHES OF THE
ENCLOSURE.

Note 3: Operation
• Keep the “WARNING” label to the Detector.
WARNING: OPEN CIRCUIT BEFORE REMOVING COVER. INSTALL IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL
IM 11M13A01–04E. USE AT LEAST 80˚C HEAT
RESISTANT CABLES.
• Take care not to generate mechanical sparking when accessing to the detector and
peripheral devices in hazardous area.
Note 4: Maintenance and Repair
• The detector modification or parts replacement by other than authorized
representative of Yokogawa Electric Corporation is prohibited and will void Factory
Mutual Explosionproof Approval.
