2. Select the template to delete and click Delete. A dialog box

opens, asking you to confirm whether you want to delete the
template. Click Yes to delete.

The template ID displays only the gray background if no batches
are associated. If the template displays a lock, you can not delete
it. To delete it you must delete the data batch that is associated
with this template.

3. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.

Delete a Used

Template

A used template has associated batches.

The template ID column displays the lock icon and the Delete
button for that entry is grayed out. In this case, select Delete
Batch
on the left side of the dialog box. You must delete
associated batches, then you can delete the template.

Batch results that are associated to this template are deleted from
the Luminex 100 IS system. If you delete a batch, you can no
longer retrieve the data in the current database.

To delete a used template:

1. From the Luminex 100 IS toolbar, select Tools. From the menu

select Database Backup and backup any data you wish to
recover at a later time.

2. At the Acq. Detail tab, click Edit Template on the Developer

Workbench toolbar. The Open Template dialog box displays. See
Figure 30.
