2. Type the correct information in the Developing Company,
Created By, Template Name Version No, and Description
boxes. If you do not enter a template name, the system
automatically enters a unique value. The lab personnel will see
this when they select the template to use with a kit.
3. Under Template Type, select Quantitative.
4. Enter the Sample Vol (µL) for this template. This is the amount
of sample that will be tested. Make the volume in the wells at
least 25 µL greater than the sample volume.
5. Enter a Sample Timeout (sec) for this template. This is the
maximum time in seconds that the analyzer spends acquiring
data for each sample.
6. Enter the target XY Heater Temp (°C) for this template. To
enable this value, enter an XY Htr On or an XY Htr On (wait)
command into the template command list. See step 16.
7. Enter the Low Limit and High Limit for the Doublet
Discriminator Gate.
8. Click Next. The Apply Standard/Control wizard opens. See
Figure 5.

9. Click Apply Standard/Control to add a standards product to
your template. The Open Reagent Product dialog box opens. See

Templates have a default
sample timeout of 25 seconds.
The timeout begins when the
stream begins. If the system does
not acquire the expected number
of events in the specified time, the
system processes the next
sample.
