6.24.5 Ending A Connection
• When connected through a modem or VPN connection, tap on the connec-
tivity icon
– – in the menu bar, and then tap on Disconnect.
• When connected with a cable or cradle, detach the cable from your WORK-
BOUT PRO.
• When connected through a network (Ethernet) card, remove the card from
the WORKABOUT PRO.
6.24.6 Proxy Server Setup
Note: If you are connected to your ISP or private network during synchroniza-
tion, the WORKABOUT PRO will download the appropriate settings dur-
ing synchronization from your PC. If these settings are not on your PC, or
if they need to be changed, you’ll need to set up the proxy server connec-
tion manually.
To set up the proxy server connection manually, you’ll need the following
information: proxy server name, server type, port, type of Socks protocol used and
the user name and password.
1. Tap Start, Settings. Tap on the Connections tab followed by the Connec-
tions icon.
2. Under My Work Network, tap on Set up my proxy server.

3. Add a checkmark next to This network connects to the Internet and This
network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet.
