Enabling and Disabling Failover
If you want to break a cluster or need to take a V-Switch off-line, you must first
disable V-Switch failover. Use the CLI command cluster failover
disable
to disable this functionality. This command must be executed on
both V-Switches in the cluster.
cluster failover disable
If you want to restore a cluster or after you bring the V-Switch back on-line, you
need to re-enable the failover functionality. Use the CLI command cluster
failover enable
to re-enable this functionality. This command must be
executed on both V-Switches in the cluster.
