Insert a card. Or reinsert the
card properly.

There is a problem with the
memory card in Slot 1.
Remove and reinsert the
memory card. If this does not
solve the problem, format the
card. If formatting fails, the card
cannot be used.

There is a problem with the
memory card in Slot 2.

The memory card in Slot 1 is
write-protected (“locked”).
The memory card write-protect
switch is in the “LOCK” position.
Return the switch to the
unlocked position (P. 284).
