INSTRUMENT CONFIGURATION USING WEB INTERFACE [E-SERIES MODELS ONLY]
Click on CONFIGURE INSTRUMENT at the left to view the INSTRUMENT Configuration page
(Figure 3-5). The parameters that can be configured from this page are arranged in two groups.
The top group requires the unit password (see PAR. 3.2.8) to change the parameter and
includes:
• Whether the polarity of the Remote Inhibit signal is active (inhibit) for low or high (see
PAR. 3.2.17.3.1 for details).
• How the unit recovers from faults (see PAR. 3.2.17.3.2 for details).
The second group does not require a password, and includes
• GPIB address (see PAR. 3.2.12 for details).
• Quick boot (see PAR. 3.2.17.2 for details).
• Assignment of the internal relay (see PAR. 3.2.17.1 for details). NOTE: The MODE
CHANGE DELAY field must contain a non-zero value within the specified range regard-
less of the relay mode selected.
• If the relay is assigned to Manual, the state of the relay (ON or OFF) cannot be con-
trolled via remote commands. The user must temporarily exit remote digital control (see
PAR. 3.2.2) and set the relay state using local controls (see PAR. 3.2.17.1, Item 2);
refreshing the browser page will return the KLP to remote digital control.
