). User custom labels allow

you to identify Personal Daq channels by user-specific nomenclature, in addition to the
pre-existing channel labels (indicated on this and the preceding page).

Calibration

Calibration must be completed periodically to ensure your data acquisition device remains accurate. You can use
UserCal (a Windows-based program) to provide step-by-step instructions. Chapter 6 contains detailed information
regarding calibration.

Note:

Calibration constants are calculated and stored in the Personal Daq unit’s serial EEPROM.

Note:

The typical calibration period for Personal Daq is once every year.
