During blade installation:

Permanently blue: On-board IPMC powered
up
– Blinking blue: Blade communicating with
shelf manager
– OFF: Blade is active
 During blade removal:

Blinking blue: Blade notifies shelf manager of
its desire to deactivate
– Permanently blue: Blade is ready to be
extracted
