ENIU Configuration
ENIU Configuration
Allows supporting the Operation, Administration, and Maintenance
(OAM) layer between a Ethernet and Fibre Channel Application and a third
party ENIU (Ethernet Network Interface Unit). Not available with 10Gig-E.
Note: Only one IQS-8500 Series and IQS-8120NGE/8130NGE module can be
connected at once on an ENIU.
Press Tools, ENIU, and ENIU Config.
ENIU Type
For IQS-8510B: Allows the selection of the ENIU Type. Choices are ADC,
and 802.3ah. For 802.3ah, the software option needs to be installed to be
available. Refer to Available Options on page 381.
For IQS-8120NGE/IQS-8130NGE and IQS-8525/IQS-8535: Only ADC ENIUs
are supported.
Enable OAM
Enables the OAM interface when the Enable OAM check box is selected.
This check box is cleared by default.
Note: The ENIU discovery process will start automatically when Enable OAM
check box is selected and the link is up.
