Capture
Trigger Position: Allows the selection of the triggered frame position
within the buffer.
Post-Trigger: The trigger frame is located at the beginning of the
buffer meaning that the buffer will contain the triggered frame with
the following frames.
Mid-Trigger: The trigger frame is located at the middle of the
buffer meaning that the buffer will contain the triggered frame with
the preceding and following frames.
Pre-Trigger: The trigger frame is located at the end of the buffer
meaning that the buffer will contain the triggered frame with the
preceding frames.
Status and Controls
Capture Status: Indicates the status of the data capture:
“--”: The capture is not started and has not run yet.
Armed...: The capture is started but waiting for the trigger event.
Capturing...: The capture is in progress. For Post-Trigger and
Mid-Trigger mode, the trigger event has been captured and the
buffer is filling up.
Completed: The capture is completed.
Frame Count: Indicates the number of frames captured that matches
the selected filter criteria. However, for Mid-trigger and Pre-Trigger,
the frame counter will only be available when the capture is
completed.
Triggered Error: When trigger on error is selected, it indicates the
error that activated the trigger.
Triggered Frame - Details: Gives details on the triggered frame. Refer
to Triggered Frame Details on page 510 for more information.
