Ground Resistance

The Ground Resistance
measurement compares the
customer protector ground
resistance to an active central
office pair. If an incorrect leads
connection is detected during the
measurement, Please check wire
connections is displayed.
Note: The Ground Resistance function only
works with central offices with the tip connected to ground.
Resistance
The Resistance tab allows you to
measure the current resistance value
and cable length for the cable
connection.
Note: If the ANSI standard is used, the tab
name Resistance changes to
Shorts Meter.
Each parameter is described below.

Cable Type defines the gauge of
the cable in use. Select the wire
gauge measured as Auto, in AWG
units, or in mm.
