Line Parameters
The Line Params tab allows you to set the basic DSL and Ethernet
negotiation modes for a Selected Profile composed of the current
LineMode selections.
When the LineMode selection is
ADSL2+ or AUTO-DSL, the available
parameters are the following:

Annex displays a non-edit text box
with Annex A which is ADSL
service functioning over POTS.
Annex L which assumes an
increase in ADSL range/distance is
supported by default.

VPI is the virtual path identifier (VPI) ranging from 0 through 255 for the
ATM connection.
³
VCI is the virtual circuit identifier (VCI) ranging from 32 through 65535
for the ATM connection.
When the LineMode selection is
Ethernet, the available parameters are
the following:

Link Speed is a choice between
AUTO (negotiated during the link
establishment), 100 or 10 Mbps.

Connect Mode is Full-duplex or
Half-duplex, when Link Speed is
set to either 100 or 10 Mbps.
Note: When the Line Mode selection is VDSL2-STGR or VDSL2-ALCL, no setup is
needed in the Line Params tab.
