be high enough for the stylus holder to drop in between
them. When the handheld is level, press Calibrate
Accelerometer, and then Start. Samples are averaged
over the next five seconds and the result is saved. The
accelerometer only needs to be calibrated once. (If you
restore the handheld to its original factory defaults, you
need to calibrate the accelerometer again.)
Communicating with a Computer
The Archer 2 can connect to a desktop or laptop computer,
allowing you to synchronize information and download
software and files.
Installing the Software
Install free synchronization software from Microsoft
®
on your
desktop computer.
1. Go to the Microsoft
®
website on your computer at

2. If your computer is running Windows

2000 or Windows

XP, search for and select ActiveSync
®
software to
download. If it is running Windows Vista

, Windows

or Windows

8, search for and select Windows Mobile

Device Center software.
3. Follow the download instructions on the website.
Establishing a Partnership
1. Plug the USB Client end (micro B) of the USB
communications cable into the Archer 2.
2. Plug the USB Host end (full size A) of the USB
communications cable into your computer.
3. Establish an ActiveSync® or Windows Mobile
®
Device
Center partnership by following the instructions on the
computer screen.
4. Once a partnership is established, the synchronization
software automatically opens. Follow the steps on the
screen.
