Configuring Specific Port Features
Use this subsection to configure the following optional port features:
• Lock baud rates
• Set a timeout time on transmit data on a port
• Map CD to DSR
• Map 2 stop bits to 1
• Wait for physical transmission before write
• Clone port settings
• RS-485 - override and lock RS-485 toggle mode
• RS-485 - toggle RTS low
Use the following procedure to access and configure individual COM
port features:
1. Start up VS-Link (see Step 1 of the Accessing VS-Link Menus
subsection, if you need help).
2. Highlight the COM port that you want to configure.
