Setting the Receiving Reduction Mode
When receiving a document that is as long or longer than the recording paper installed in your
unit, the unit will automatically reduce the data of the document when printing it out. The unit
can receive documents in actual size by changing the following copy mode.
REDUCT1: The unit reduces the size of the incoming document to 92% in length to fit on one
page, if, after reduction, the unit cannot fit the document on one page, the
document will be printed on two pages without reduction.
REDUCT2; The unit reduces the size of the incoming document to 92%, 86%, or 72% in length
to fit on one page. If, after reduction, the unit cannot fit the document on one page,
the document will be printed on two pages without reduction (pre-selected setting).
INHIBIT:
Documents are not reduced. Incoming documents are printed on two pages.
