Remote Fax Receiving Using a Reserve Phone
If you connect a reserve telephone to the same line to which your facsimile unit is connected, it
is possible to receive a fax document into your facsimile unit by using the reserve telephone
near you.
This saves you the trouble of going to the facsimile unit and pressing the START button.
NOTES:
- This feature is only effective when you receive a call.
- This feature can only be used when the reserve phone is touch tone telephone.

When a call comes in, lift the handset of the reserve
phone to answer the call.

Remote fax activation code
When the other party wishes to send you a fax, or
nothing is heard, press the remote fax activation
code using your reserve phone.
- The pre-selected code is * *.
- Remote fax activation code can be changed (see
page 157).
Replace the handset on the cradle.
The unit switches to the fax mode, then receives a
document.
