Note: If the check box is unchecked, the sound will be muted for that activity.
The Timer in Quiz allows the selection of a timer to be used in a quiz. The default set is
Normal. Select one of the timers you desire by clicking on its corresponding radio button.
The Normal setting allows you to select a timer for each question. The preset time will
count down when you press the Start/Pause button or use the instructor
remote keypad to press the play button to start a quiz. When the timer reaches 0,
students are unable to send their answer.The instructor can advance to the next
question and start the quiz.
The Timer enabled and run automatically question by question setting allows you to
select timers for each question. The preset times for each question will count down when
the quiz begins. When the time is up, the next question will be shown automatically and
the new preset time for the question is displayed. This will repeat until all of the questions
in the exam have been completed,, or the instructor presses the pause or stop button to
interrupt the quiz.
Note: This function is unavailable under free-style mode.
Click on the Save button to save your timer selection.
The Timer disabled setting allows you to disable the timer function for each question.
The starting and stopping of the quiz will be manually controlled by the instructor.
The Automatically Start The Exam When Turned To Next Question allows you to start
the next question without pressing the Start/Pause button each time you turn
to the next question.
Note: This function is unavailable under free-style mode.
The Interaction setting contains the Student ID Display, Send Questions (unavailable
in this system), Student Re-answer Times and Display Report/Result at end of
