• Select letters (upper and lower-case), numbers, or other characters by
turning the selection knob until the desired letter, number, or other character
is displayed on the LCD. Move the cursor to another position by pressing
the soft buttons labeled g and
h. To delete a character, press the soft
button marked Del.
NOTE: The maximum length for any input name is 32 characters.
• After the new name has been entered, press Done to save the name and
return to the list of options for the input card.
Select Input The DMC-VID4 can select video from any of the four inputs for viewing. The
DMC-VID4 can also be set to show feeds from all four inputs simultaneously or
switch between inputs at a specified rotate rate. To select an input to view:
• Turn the selection knob to highlight Input Select and press the ENTER
button.

• Turn the selection knob to highlight an input and press the ENTER button.
The current selection is indicated with an asterisk (*).
In addition to choosing an individual input, the user can select to view all of
the inputs simultaneously (All Inputs) or have the display rotate between
the inputs (Rotate Inputs). If Rotate Inputs is selected, the rotate rate must
be selected as described in “Input Rotate Rate” below.
• Press the MENU button to return to the list of options for the DMC-VID4.
Input Rotate Rate If the DMC-VID4 is set to rotate the inputs that are displayed, the rotate rate between
inputs must be set. To select a rotate rate:
• Turn the selection knob to highlight Input Rotate Rate and press the
ENTER button.
