• Select letters (upper and lower-case), numbers, or other characters by
turning the selection knob until the desired letter, number, or other character
is displayed on the LCD. Move the cursor to another position by pressing
the soft buttons labeled g and
h. To delete a character, press the soft
button marked Del.
NOTE: The maximum length for any output name is 32 characters.
• After the new name has been entered, press Done to save the name and
return to the list of options for the output.
DM Output Information
The DM output can provide information on the HDCP state, the Deep Color setting,
the audio signal that is being passed through, EDID information, the selected DM
cable type, and DM device depth. To view information on the DM output:
• Open the Outputs section and select an output as described on page 96.
Turn the selection knob to highlight DM Output Settings and press the
ENTER button. A list of available data will be displayed. Some categories
such as Audio, EDID Device Information, DM Cable Type and DM
Device Depth, will display detailed information when highlighted with the
selection knob and selected by pressing the ENTER button.
When DM Cable Type is selected, the type of DM cable used to connect
the output can be displayed or changed.

The selected cable type is displayed with an asterisk (*). To select a
different cable type:
¾ Turn the selection knob to highlight the cable type to be used and press
the ENTER button. An asterisk will appear next to the selected cable
type.
¾ Press the MENU button to return to the list of available information.
• To exit and return to the list of available functions, press the MENU button.
HDMI Output Information
(Outputs 1 & 3 of
DMC-CATO-HD Only)
The HDMI output can provide information on the HDCP state, the Deep Color
