REFSEL - PA/AEC Reference Select
This command selects/reports which output is used for each mic as a reference for
power amp adaptation mode and acoustic echo cancellation where applicable. There
can be only one selection per mixer.
Command form: DEVICE REFSEL [Ref. Group] [Ref. Channel]
Argument details
Name Description
Device 0—7 or * to select all units
REFSEL Command
Channel 1—4 (select mic input)
Ref. Group 0 = Output, E = Expansion bus
Ref. Channel 1—9, O—Z (select output or E-bus channel)
Example: #70 REFSEL 1 O 8 On XAP 400 unit 7 (#70), the PA/AEC
reference REFSEL for mic channel 1 is output (O) 12.
REFSET - Reference channel setup
This command selects/reports the output the reference channel tracks.
Command form: DEVICE REFSET [Value]
Argument details
Name Description
Device 0—7 or * to select all units
REFSET Command
Channel 1—4 (select Virtual Reference number)
Group 1—9 (select output channel to track)
Value 0 = none
Example: #73 REFSET 2 4 On XAP 400 unit 3 (#73), virtual reference (2) will
track gain changes mde on output channel 4.
RING - Ring Indication
This command indicates a ringing line. This command is reportable only. It cannot
be queried or set.
Command form: DEVICE RING

Example: #71 RING 1 On XAP 400 unit 1 (#71), the hybrid (1) will detect an
incoming RING.
