Problem

Correction

When the denied MAC address is cleared in the

Access Point Configuration Utility, the message

"The deletion of history failed" is displayed.

·

The access point may be busy. Wait a while and re-

execute the utility.

·

By using the ping command, check whether the

network is disconnected.

·

When the network is used from the remote PC, it

must be connected with a community name with

writing authority. Check whether the specified

community name is correct, and the authority is

correctly set up.

When "802.1X" has been set to "Use" (including

mixing) with the Access Point Setting Utility, the

following message appears:

"Enable the rule name and RADIUS server and set

the common secret."

· When you use the 802.1X function, a valid rule name

and RADIUS server must be set. Use "Set RADIUS"

to check that the rule name and RADIUS server

settings are not in error.

"User was denied access."

· Authentication failed. Check the RADIUS server

settings and log.

The following message is posted to the event viewer

· Check whether the IP address, port, and shared

secret of the RADIUS server defined by the access

point setting utility are correct

· Use the ping command to check whether the

RADIUS server responds.

The following message is posted to the event viewer

application log (source name: TSAPSVC):

"Configuration of is invalid."

· Redefine the using the access

point setting utility. If it does not remedy the error,

reinstall the program.

The following message is posted to the event viewer

application log (source name: TSAPSVC):

"Connecting to the access point device driver failed.

Service could not be started. "

· The component may not be installed normally.

Reinstall the component.
