WEP
WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is a secret key encryption based on the RC4 algorithm.
An encrypted network packet makes it difficult to illegally access the network and to decrypt
communication contents.
Key length must be 5, 13 or 16 bytes. (The max key length depends on the card.) The longer a key
is the more secure it is.
Memo
All keys are set to "WEP00"or"WEP0000000000" by default. Please change it.
Also, by changing and re-distributing the WEP key periodically, the security can be increased.
When the WEP key is used network throughput is deteriorated by encryption processing.
